Basic role of mosques and husseiniyehs in attracting youths and teenagers to Islamic values

 

Hojatoleslam Seyyed Abbas Masoudi, director general of Alborz province’s Islamic development stated that mosques and husseiniyehs play a basic role in attracting youths and teenagers to the Islamic values.

Mosques and husseiniyehs play a basic role in attracting youths and teenagers to the Islamic values, Hojatoleslam Seyyed Abbas Masoudi, director general of Alborz province’s Islamic development stated, public relations office of Alborz province’s Islamic development department reported.

By employing competent male and female preachers, mosques and husseiniyehs have a basic role in attracting youths and teenagers to the great Islamic values, he noted.

Today, mosques and husseiniyehs are regarded as the precious asset of the Islamic republic system of Iran, since, they play a strategic role in disseminating the pure Islamic culture among youths and teenagers by holding religious ceremonies and feasts, Hojatoleslam Masoudi specified.

In the time of Pahlavi regime, the revolutionary youths began their revolutionary movement in mosques and husseiniyehs, and gradually, this revolutionary movement spread across the country, and the Islamic revolution gained victory, director general of Alborz province’s Islamic development noted.

Hojatoleslam Masoudi stated that we can definitely say that mosques and hussieniyehs are one of the main reasons of the victory of the Islamic revolution, and at the moment too, they play a basic role in preserving the Islamic values by making use of the young generations and adolescents.

In the end, he said: the sanctity and value of mosques and husseiniyehs should be preserved in our Islamic country, and our male and female preachers should be able to attract youths and adolescents to the pure Islamic values by making use of the basic methods of propagation.
